IT'S PARTY TIME!

Today was Breydon's Halloween Party at school. He had a ball! He was so excited to be Peyton Manning! Thank you Mamaw for coming to the party. Breydon was so excited to show you around his new digs! Bet you didn't know you'd be introduced as Peyton Manning's Mamaw! Here's some photos from his special day!

IT HAPPENED...IT GOT IT...:(

Unfortunately, it hit me over the weekend. I found out today that I tested positive for the H1N1 Virus. I remember thinking this would never happen to me...WRONG! Moms aren't supposed to be sick, right? I tell you...through this experience I have learned a lot about my family. For one, John has no clue! ha Bet you didn't know that, right? ha He has had a lot on his shoulders with me being down and I've appreciated his help more than anything, but it's not the way I do things! Only a woman would understand that statement! I'm embarrassed to death about how my house looks now, but I just don't have the energy to try to pick up. The laundry is piled so high that all I can do is hope that we all have a pair of new underwear for the morning! It's hard to just let go. But, I think the hardest part is not being able to love all over Breydon. I pray that he doesn't get this. He keeps checking on me and asking me, "When will you be back, Mom? I just love you." It's breaking my heart that I can't give him a million kisses like I do each day. I just keep telling him that I promise I'll make it up to him as soon as I'm better. I'm very blessed to have two people in my home that love me so much.

ISELLA JELAINE STUTZMAN

I just received word that Isella went to be with the Lord today. Please pray for my friend and her family as they go through this difficult time. The Lord is truly blessed with another child today. Their family has a beautiful angel watching over them.

PLEASE PRAY!

I am very saddened to learn that a dear college friend of mine and her family are dealing with something I could never imagine. Piper is my college friend from AU. Her sister, Myka, who I remember as the cutest little girl is all grown up now and has had a little girl of her own, Isella. Right now, Isella is at Riley and is still fighting for her life. PLEASE PRAY FOR THEIR FAMILY. My heart is aching for them and I pray God will give them all the strength that they need.

BUBBYISM-HE MELTS OUR HEARTS!

John went to Breydon's school for "Special Person Night." It was Dad's night to go to school to carve a pumpkin. Breydon had a blast and was so excited that John came with him. He said, "Dad, I just love you. I'm so glad you came here with me." John said everyone in the classroom heard...melted his heart.

When Breydon came home, he just kept giving me hugs as we discussed his day. Of course, it was Monday Night Football so we had to take a break from Mommy and Me time so he could sing the Monday Night Song! Then he came back over to me and said, "Mom, why didn't the Colts play?" I said, "Well, Buddy, the Colts had a Bye Week. That means they had a day off work." He said, "Mommy, can you take a Bye Week to be with me?" Ugh...right to my heart. I just loved all over him and prayed God would help me win the lottery! :)

IT'S FALL Y'ALL!

Breydon is so excited! You'd think it was Christmas! He could not wait to get out our Halloween decorations! He ran around the yard saying, "Mommy, it's my favorite time of year!" He asked me to take some photos and "put them on the bwog (aka blog)." John told me (with a roll of the eyes) that he was just like me when it comes to holidays...and there's nothing wrong with that!!! :)

WONDERFUL NEWS!

We received some wonderful news this morning! We have a cousin on the way! Baby Benefiel will arrive in April--what a great month! ;)!!! Congratulations Judd and Krissa! We are so happy for you!

THE DREADED HAIRCUT

When Breydon was 18 months old, he had a complete meltdown when I took him to Clubhouse for Kids to get his haircut. It was awful. I was so surprised because he had always loved going there! It was not long after that when we realized Breydon had the symptoms of SPD. Since then, John has had to give him a haircut. He has done a great job, but I felt it was time to get a "real" haircut. Breydon seemed excited to go, but I was very nervous. I prayed he'd be okay...AND MY PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED! He was a little nervous about the scissors, but the lady that cut his hair was great and he did just fine! His sensory issues have improved so much! I'm so proud of him. I think the haircut today was a result of prayer and of course, Lightning McQueen! :)

THE WARM UP!

This is how I found Breydon before the Colt's game today. I said, "Buddy, what are you doing?" He said, "Mom, I'm just warmin' up for the game, but my big muscles are starting to hurt!"
