FUN WITH FRIENDS!

This weekend we had a ball with the Pope boys! We look forward to the time we get to spend with them. Breydon was on cloud nine! He couldn't wait for them to come over! Of course, they played football and had a ball! They had so much fun together playing football, cars, and Uno... They are so good with Breydon and he adores them...just as much as we do. It's hard to believe that Griff is already in 3rd grade. I swear he was just born yesterday! Time sure does fly...

BUBBYISMS OF THE WEEK...

Mom, I went to the “baffroom” but I only had one “danky” poopy.

Breydon’s teacher told me that she wanted to talk to me after class on Wednesday. I felt like I was in trouble or something and worried about detention! Ha She said, “I have to tell you something. All of the teachers keep a log of things that happen throughout the year and we share them with other teachers. I already had three things since school began and they’re all about Breydon!” She had a smile on her face so I prayed it wasn't something horrendous! ha She said she had to share a couple of them with me. I guess they were in story time and they were using finger puppets. The puppets were traveling and the ended up somewhere where nothing was in sight. Breydon stood up and said, “…Not even a Taco Bell?” That’s my boy! Then she said they continued with the story and the puppets ended up feeling very sad. It was a sad day. Breydon stood up and said in a sad sigh tone, “Well, that’s America…” He’s got it all figured out a age 4.

Today, Breydon said, “Mom. I think we need to go to Dunkin Donuts. They are very tasty!”

I was typing a reply email back to Papaw and Breydon was dictating… He said, “And Papaw, I like to play the video games and other activities.” (What 4 year old says “activities?”)

Yes, as you probably already know, I am (and proud to admit it) a sappy preschool Mom! I can't help myself! I'm so proud. Here's a photo that Breydon made at school today. I just love him!!!

FUN MORNING..

John was quite disturbed this morning when he woke up to find me and Bubby watching High School Musical 3 and dancing around the family room. I think he was even more disturbed that I knew all of the words to the songs! Hey, give me a break...we have RadioDisney on a preset station in our car! Of course, afterwards, John immediately turned the channel to a Michigan game and started playing football with Breydon. Must have made him feel better..!

Tonight, I asked Breydon to take a quiz that I found on Facebook. I was curious to see what he would say... So far, I've learned that Breydon thinks I just work, work, and work which makes me wish I could win the lottery, that I think my husband is messy (well, I should say...I know he is!), and that my son loves me just as much as I love him! All in all, I thought he did a great job!

We had fun at Uncle Lane's game tonight! Uncle Lane played great! We're so proud of you! Breydon is too even though he asked you "how come the other team is better than you?" ha! We love you, Uncle Lane!

I SURVIVED BREYDON'S FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL!

...as if it were about me! ha I sooooo dreaded this day, and yes, I was a blubbering idiot! I couldn't help myself! My baby was going to school... I was so proud of him! He did great! He didn't even say goodbye and marched right into his room. His teacher also told me that he was "very smart." That makes us so proud...but sometimes he's too smart!ha :) I love you, Bubby. I'm so proud to be your mother! Here's some photos from his big day!

PRICELESS BUBBYISM...

Breydon told his Gymboree teacher that he had to go "poopy." I was waiting outside class, so I took him to the restroom. I was telling him that he needed to hurry so that he wouldn't miss the rest of his class. He wanted to be in the stall by himself because, "Mom, I'm big now!" While he was in the stall he said, "Mom, this is taking a long time isn't it?" Realizing that I shouldn't rush him I said, "It's okay, Buddy, just take your time." Silence... Then he said, "Mom, but this is really taking a long time." I said, "Buddy, sometimes it just takes a while. You're okay." Then he said, "I know this is taking a really long time, but Mom, some things are just worth the wait."

WAY TO GO HOOSIERS!!!

On Thursday, we went to the new IU stadium to cheer on our Hoosiers! Breydon was so excited! He was ready to play on the field (and being that this appears it may be a loooonnggg season this year, he could be very helpful!ha). Breydon enjoyed every minute of the game! We had a great time!
