SNOW DAY!!

As most of you know, today was a snow day! I still can't believe we had over 10 inches of snow! Of course, on a snow day you have to play in the snow!!!

FUN IN THE SNOW!

We enjoyed some fun in the snow today! What was most enjoyable for me was seeing John almost wipe out on the ice a few times! ha Quite a sight! Sorry, I didn't get any photos of that! No...honestly...the fun was spending quality time with my family!

UPDATE

After I read a book to Bubby, he said, "Mommy, am I ever gonna see my toys again?" I said, "No, Buddy. You've gotta realize that Mommy and Daddy need to you pick up your toys when you're done playing with them. Do you want to put them away now?" He said, "Yes, Mommy...please." I said, "Well, I'll talk to Daddy about it tomorrow." He said, "Can the trash man just stay home?" I said, "I'll call him in the morning." I think he got it! :) Then he said, "I love you, Mom." I just love him...rotten or not! Speaking of rotten...thanks Mamaw and Papaw for the markers! Thank goodness they are washable!

JUST NOT GETTING IT!

We have had an eventful evening! I've been trying to get my laundry done only to find that I had white pieces of "something" all over my wet laundry. I finally figured out the problem. Breydon had placed a pull-up (hopefully a clean one) in my washing machine without my knowledge. This should be fun to clean up! Speaking of clean up...Breydon made a mess with all of his toys all over the living room floor. I told him it was time to clean up. He said, "No." So I said, "Fine, we'll just throw all of the toys away and you won't see them again." Since that time, he has been helping John throw all of his toys in a trash bag with a grin on his face. He then informed me that they would go to other kids. I said, "No, Bubby. These toys are going to the trash dump." He just didn't seem to get what I was saying! Now, I can hear him questioning John about where his toys are going and telling him he wants to put all of his toys in the trash and then he'll play with them tomorrow! AAAAAHHHH ...and now I see that he just spilled my Diet Coke on the floor! I think I'll just call it a night and hope for a better day tomorrow! :)

TOWEL HAT

My husband was getting ready to face the cold air and shovel our sidewalk. As Mom and I looked around the corner, this is what we found on my husband's head. He claimed he couldn't find a hat...of course, you know he didn't look...can you say lazy? Wonder what the new neighbors will think! ha

THE THINGS KIDS SAY

My son came up to me with his beautiful brown eyes...long eyelashes blinking...such an innocent look only to say, "Mom, they just want me for my body!" I thought I was going to pass out! Where in the world could he have gotten this line! I said, "Bubby, you don't say that! Where did you hear that?" He said, "Mom, that's what Mater says!" Then I recalled that line in the Disney Cars movie. Then he says, "Can you believe it. You've gotta be kiddin' me!" I cracked up! Guess, I have Disney to thank..! Don't they know kids repeat EVERYTHING!!!!

Molly and I took the kids to Picture People right before Christmas to get some photos for Mom and Dad for Christmas. They were great! What would have been really good would have been a video of Molly and me trying to make the kids smile! I'm sure we would have won Funniest Home Videos! Here's a video of the shoot... NAKED CLOGGER

As I was updating my blog, my son came running out of the bathroom (just got his bath)...and yes, buck naked! He started dancing with the clogger that was on the TV. Fortunately (well, not for him when he's older) I had the camera sitting next to me. Maybe I should enter him in America's Got Talent?

WATERPARK FUN!

Since we never really get to have a "family vacation", John and I decided that it would be fun to stay a hotel for an evening while we had some time off just to feel like we had a little getaway. We found a hotel that had a waterpark and had a blast! Breydon loved every minute of it which was very evident when he threw a HUGE fit when we had to leave! Here's some photos from our time together...hopefully, we'll have many more getaways this year!
