NEW TOY

The "Direct TV Men" (as Bubby calls them) came to our house today to switch a receiver. Bubby was more excited about his "new car" than the new receiver. If I had only known a Direct TV box would entertain him for awhile....

BUBBYISMS

John and Bubby had dinner out at the Chinese restaurant. Bubby begged John to take him up by the register so that he could watch them cook the meal. As they were standing up there, Bubby overheard one of the cooks talking to another cook. He says (very loudly), "Daddy, she's speaking Spanish." Needless to say, everyone in the restaurant laughed, including John!

Bubby and I were having a conversation about the upcoming week. I told him that John was staying home with him for a couple of days (his days off), but that I had to work. He said, "Mommy, why do you have to work?" I said, "Buddy, I wish I didn't have to work, but we work to make money to pay the bills." He said, "But, why Mommy? Money just comes out of the machine."

Bubby was hollering at me. I ran to him as fast as I could and said, "What's wrong?" He said, "Oh, Mommy. It's a disaster!" I said, "What happened?" He said, "I have the hiccups."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EM!!!

Although we're a day late in our posting, we would like to wish Emily Bartlett a HAPPY 31ST BIRTHDAY!!!! We love you, Em!!!

FUN WITH MY CUZ!

Breydon has been in heaven since yesterday. His cousin Kiersten came over for a slumber party! These two have had a ball from the minute she walked in the door. They crack me up! They're so cute!

IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!

Bubby is so excited that Dancing With The Stars is on tonight. He can't wait to dance with Mamaw! I'd give them an 8. That allows some room for improvement throughout the season! ha Hang in there, Mamaw!

Breydon was having a "serious" discussion with John. I then hear him say, "Dad, it's 'cause I know things. You just don' t know things." I couldn't help but laugh. Sad thing is...he's probably right! ha Just teasing, honey!

DISNEY 2009

Hello, everyone! We're back from Disney...actually we've been back for a week but I haven't had a chance to sit down at the computer! We had an absolute blast at Disneyworld. We couldn't have asked for anything more. I'm so thankful that we were able to take Breydon to see his "friends." When you get some time, check out the video below!
