It's already started..! Bayleigh Grace has been saying "Da Da". John keeps telling me that she's saying it and we now have the proof. She is by no means referring to him although he likes to think so... So, I guess I'll keep working on her to try to get her to say, "Mommy!"

FRUSTRATED...
Well, so much for trying to keep up with my blog! What I once found to be something so fun and almost therapeutic...has now turned into a chore. I find myself struggling just to open the computer. I've decided to take another shot at keeping up the blog as I want to keep one for my family. I want them to have something to look back on and something to help us with our memories. Lord knows I've lost all of that! ha So, I'll try to continue with the blog and I'm sending a warning that I may have to throw in some "flashbacks" (i.e., Christmas photos!) every once in awhile to show you where we've been and what we've been up to. I couldn't be more proud to be so blessed and can't wait to share our family happenings with you!

HEAVEN HAS ANOTHER ANGEL TODAY!
We lost a dear friend today, but we know that we have another angel watching out for us. The tears that poured down my son's little face when we told him said it all...we will miss you. It broke my heart. Wendall, Breydon will miss his John Deere "tac tac" Buddy, but I know you will watch over him. I thank you for being such a wonderful friend to me and my family. Thank you for treating my family as if we were your own. Thank you for being you. We can't wait to see you again one day!

WHAT HAPPENED??
Hello! We're still here! Life is crazy as I'm sure you can imagine. I miss blogging. I miss sharing things about my family, especially my kiddos. Life seems to get in the way and I never seem to accomplish anything these days. It's frustrating and I'm trying to think of ways to make some changes. The first thing on my list is to win the lottery so that I wouldn't have to work so many hours, but I guess I'd have to buy tickets so I'll have to scratch that one off my list...FOR NOW! In the meantime, please bear with me as I try to go back several months and update my blog. It may take me a year, but it's on my list!

THE POLAR EXPRESS!
I have always wanted to take Breydon on The Polar Express ride in Connersville. He loves the movie and I knew he'd have a blast! We were able to purchase tickets! They sold out right after we bought our tickets! We couldn't wait! Breydon made a train on his calendar and we counted down the days! The day had finally arrived!!! We were all so excited. As we ventured out in the cold, the fog seemed to get worse! Then our exit to get on the main road was closed! Needless to say we were panicked!!! I called the train station 3 times and did everything but bribe them with money (I had spent every last dime on the tickets!). I was in tears. I couldn't help but think we were going to disappoint our son bigtime! I knew there were more important things going on in this world, but I prayed and prayed and prayed that the train would board late! It was going to break my heart if I had to look in my son's eyes and see his disappointment.
We finally reached Connersville and the fog was so thick you could barely see the front of the car! Cars were going 5 mph...it was awful. I was so sick. I just kept praying! John told me that we just had to get to 4th street. As we approached a street sign (that we could barely see), I realize that it said "33rd street!" What? How can this be? We will never make it! Finally, we arrived in downtown Connersville and I could see the front of the train. I grabbed Bubby out of his seat as fast as I could and we ran. I hollered at the conductor, "Please wait! Please wait!!" He said, "Hurry! Hurry!" We ran into the train station. They were on the phone trying to call us back to let us know they couldn't wait any longer. Thank goodness John got a parking spot up front and...WE MADE IT! When we finally arrived in our seats, I cried. I was so relieved and thankful. I know this may seem silly, but I'm so grateful to God for allowing us to have this experience with our son. I will cherish it forever!!! Here are the highlights from our trip!
P.S. The video is very dark, but you can hear the kids singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" to make Santa come out of his workshop. All of the children were dressed in their PJs. It was so cute!
