HE HAD A GREAT FIRST DAY AT PRE-K!

Breydon had his first day of Pre-K on Wednesday. He was so excited to meet new friends! He handled it great! His hormonal mother on the other hand...not so much! I just tear up realizing just how much he's growing up. When I left him at the door, I couldn't decide if I should tell him goodbye. He was so excited he kinda forgot about me! I just couldn't do it so I said, "Bye, Buddy. I love you." He stopped what he was doing and ran over to me with his arms open wide. He said, "I love you, Mom. I'm gonna miss you." That's my baby. I smiled really big (holding back the tears) and told him I'd be back soon and to have a great day! And that's exactly what he did!! I'm so proud of him!

Bubby came running into our room and told us that he had a special picture for us. He lifted up his doodle board with the biggest smile on his face! He said, "Mommy and Daddy! This is our family. Mommy, see the babies in your belly? It's all five of us!" It was so precious. I just had to share...

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY, BUBBY!

Five years ago today, the love of my life entered this world at 5:26 a.m. I never knew what love truly meant until I held him in my arms. It seems like it was just yesterday. Breydon, you are growing up so fast. Being your mother and watching you grow has been everything to me. I'm so blessed to have you in my life. I don't remember life before you. You bring me more joy than you could ever know. I'm so lucky to be your mother. Thank you for being my everything. Your smile lights up the room. Your knowledge amazes me. Your hugs are cherished. Your sense of humor keeps me laughing. Your love of life makes life worth living. I truly love you with all of my heart, Bubby. I hope that you have a wonderful birthday today. I look forward to watching you grow. I'm the luckiest Mom in the world and I thank God every day that he chose me to be your mother.

THE JEALOUSY HAS BEGUN!

I’m very behind on my blogging! I can’t seem to stay awake long enough in the evenings to get it done! But...I couldn’t help but make sure I took the time to share a sweet moment that I had last night. When I got home from work, Bubby was so excited to see me. We talked about his day and how he was being such a big helper to Daddy who FINALLY got our garage cleaned up (by the way..thanks, Dad!). For some reason, he just seemed so much older to me. He even looked taller! It makes me cry when I think about how fast he’s growing up. He came in the house to take a break and I said, "Bubby, you know how much Mommy loves you, don’t you?" He hid his face and said, "Aww...Mom." I said, "I mean it. I love you more than anything in this world!" He just smiled at me and came right over for a hug. He said, "I love you too, Momma." Just then....Baby B kicked him right in the stomach! We were laughing so hard! I think she’s already jealous!! It was too cute! Breydon loved it! He’s going to be such a wonderful Big Brother!
