Breydon had trouble getting the front door to close. He said, “Mom, I can’t get the door to close. I think we need to call Triple A (AAA).”

He woke up the other morning with a sore throat. He said, “Mom, I have a situation…”

I didn’t know how Breydon was going to handle a birthday party at school. With his sensory issues, he sometimes freaks out when people are singing Happy Birthday too loud. I told him to just cover his ears and he’ll be fine. I anxiously waited at work and stared at the clock until I could leave at 1:00 to pick him up. I hoped he did okay. When I picked him up I said, “Hey, Buddy, how did Xander’s birthday party go?” He said, “Well, Mom, I just told everyone…keep it down guys…but it didn’t go as expected.”

Breydon’s classroom is called the “Fantastic Friends.” When I picked him up from school last week he had a little red mark on his face. The teacher told me that Breydon was lying on the floor and one of the other kids had stepped on him by accident. Breydon had run up to his teacher and said, “Miss Diane! One of my Fantastic Friends stepped on me!”

Mamaw was taking Breydon back to Anderson. He told Mamaw, “I need to go to my Anderson office because I need to meet with quients (clients) at 10:firty (10:30).

When we walked around Breydon's school, they had a picture of candles... Some were lit while others were not... Breydon pointed to the photo and said, "See Mommy and Daddy... When all of the candles are lit, that means Jesus was born on Christmas. That's when SHE was born!"

When we went to see Santa at Breydon’s school, Santa asked him if he had been good. He said, “Well, Santa. I’m pretty good, but there are times that I have been naughty, but I’m mostly good. Santa said, “Well, I’m glad to hear that. What would you like for Christmas?” Breydon said, “Well, I really want a Taco Bell.” Santa got a good laugh out of that one.

"ELF" HAS ARRIVED!

The Elf on the Shelf that Breydon named "Elf" last year has finally arrived at the Eisele household! Mommy and Daddy could not be more thrilled! Breydon was so excited that he couldn't stand it! We shared the Elf on the Shelf story during our story time and as soon as we were done Breydon said (while jumping up and down), "I'll be really good all the time!" Well, let's just keep our fingers crossed!ha :) John said, "Can we find something that we can keep year round?" ha We started this tradition last year and loved it! For those of you who don't know about the Elf on the Shelf, you should really get it for your child. As the story goes...The elf comes to live with you throughout the holiday season. Every night the elf flies to the north pole to report to Santa and tell him whether you've been naughty or nice. Then each morning, the elf lands in a new spot in your house. Every morning, we make sure to search for "Elf." The elf cannot talk to you, but he listens and smiles (per Santa's orders). You cannot touch the elf because he will lose his magic and will no longer be able to fly. He couldn't report to Santa about your day. I strongly suggest getting this for your young child. It has been a blast. We're looking forward to keeping this tradition for as long as we can!

I'm waaaayyyy behind on my blog. I have been so swamped with work that I haven't had time to sit down and provide updates! I plan to make up for the month of November soon! In the meantime, I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!!! God has blessed me in so many ways. I love you all!!!!

IT'S PARTY TIME!

Today was Breydon's Halloween Party at school. He had a ball! He was so excited to be Peyton Manning! Thank you Mamaw for coming to the party. Breydon was so excited to show you around his new digs! Bet you didn't know you'd be introduced as Peyton Manning's Mamaw! Here's some photos from his special day!
