I SURVIVED BREYDON'S FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL!

...as if it were about me! ha I sooooo dreaded this day, and yes, I was a blubbering idiot! I couldn't help myself! My baby was going to school... I was so proud of him! He did great! He didn't even say goodbye and marched right into his room. His teacher also told me that he was "very smart." That makes us so proud...but sometimes he's too smart!ha :) I love you, Bubby. I'm so proud to be your mother! Here's some photos from his big day!

PRICELESS BUBBYISM...

Breydon told his Gymboree teacher that he had to go "poopy." I was waiting outside class, so I took him to the restroom. I was telling him that he needed to hurry so that he wouldn't miss the rest of his class. He wanted to be in the stall by himself because, "Mom, I'm big now!" While he was in the stall he said, "Mom, this is taking a long time isn't it?" Realizing that I shouldn't rush him I said, "It's okay, Buddy, just take your time." Silence... Then he said, "Mom, but this is really taking a long time." I said, "Buddy, sometimes it just takes a while. You're okay." Then he said, "I know this is taking a really long time, but Mom, some things are just worth the wait."

WAY TO GO HOOSIERS!!!

On Thursday, we went to the new IU stadium to cheer on our Hoosiers! Breydon was so excited! He was ready to play on the field (and being that this appears it may be a loooonnggg season this year, he could be very helpful!ha). Breydon enjoyed every minute of the game! We had a great time! We love our Hoosiers! Check out the pictures/video below... Breydon has some smooth dance moves to the IU fight song!

DOES PEYTON DO THAT?

Breydon is so excited about football season! He got his Colts uniform for his birthday, he's been to two football games, and he's played football on the field every weekend...you wonder where he got this from? Anyway, lately he's been asking me if Peyton does this or that... So far today, I've had the following conversations:

Breydon: Does Peyton like to eat eggs?
Mommy: He loves scrambled eggs!
Breydon eats his eggs...

Breydon: Does Peyton brush his teeth every morning?
Mommy: Of course he does!
Breydon runs off to brush his teeth...

Breydon: Mommy, does Peyton get dressed every morning?
Mommy: ...sure does!
Breydon gets dressed...

Breydon: Mommy, does Peyton listen to his Mommy when she tells him things?
Mommy: Of course, he listens to his Mommy. He's a good boy.
Breydon does exactly what I ask him to do...

So far this has definitely worked to my advantage! I love Peyton! ;)

BREYDON'S FUN DAY!

Breydon had a wonderful birthday party last weekend. He was so excited that he was finally 4 years old! He tells everyone from the waitress at O'Charleys to the kids in the neighborhood. "I'm four and I'm big" is the phrase around our house. Thank you to everyone for making his birthday party so special. We had a wonderful time! Here are some highlights of his special day:

Deb and her family were unable to make it to the party and she was so kind to leave his gift on our front porch. When Breydon woke up, I opened the door and he saw the bag. He said, "Mom, PLEASE GET IT!!" Then he called Deb to thank her and instead of saying thank you for his gift he said, "Aunt Deb, thank you for dropping by!"

When he opened up the legos that Emily, Nathan, and Dylan bought him, he said, "This is what I always wanted my whole life!"

When he opened the toy semis from Missy, Tammy, and the kids he said, "But these are too expensive [when Mamaw takes him to Target she tells him this!]
