As most of you know, I've been struggling with trying to get Breydon completely potty trained. It seems like I've been working on it for eternity. My only saving grace has been the fact that a lot of my friends had trouble with their sons when they were Breydon's age. They all keep telling me that it will just happen one day right out of the blue. I hope they're right and I hope that "one day" is sooner rather than later. To say it politely, he is wonderful at doing number 1...it's the number 2 that seems to be the issue. I've tried everything from potty charts to surprise bags, etc...nothing. I finally had the idea that if he went 5 days with no number 2 in his pull-up, Mommy and Dad were going to take him to Chuck E. Cheese. I didn't care if we had to rob a bank to go...we were going! ha Breydon was so excited at the idea. I had my fingers crossed. Tonight, he came running up to me with the biggest smile on his face and his hands in the air. In a high-pitched, excited voice he says, "Mommy, guess what...I'm not going to Chuck E. Cheese." It was as if this was a good thing. The smell said it all. So much for Chuck E. Cheese!
