Defending the Rock!

QUIZZES CAN BE REVEALING!

Tonight, I asked Breydon to take a quiz that I found on Facebook. I was curious to see what he would say... So far, I've learned that Breydon thinks I just work, work, and work which makes me wish I could win the lottery, that I think my husband is messy (well, I should say...I know he is!), and that my son loves me just as much as I love him! The results are in:

1. What is something mom always says to you?

B: “I’ll always get you after you go to sleep.”

2. What makes mom happy?

B: “When I clean up my mess.”

3. What makes mom mad?

B: “When Daddy does silly things.”

4. How does your mom make you laugh?

B: “You just do something funny.”

5. What was your mom like as a child?

B: “I don’t know that answer.”

6. How old is your mom?

B: “I don’t know."

7. How tall is your mom?

B: (Counting in his version of inches) “7”

8. What is her favorite thing to do?

B: You work and then come get me when you’re done working. (Uh, work is not my favorite by any means...just the latter part of his statement!!)

9. What does your mom do when you're not around?

B: “You go to work.”

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?

B: “Wearing a belt.” (I have no clue…)

11. What is your mom really good at?

B: “Really good at exercising and walking.” (I wish!)

12. What is your mom not very good at?

B: “Jumping.” (Okay, thanks, Son…I was only a cheerleader!)

13. What does your mom do for a job?

B: “I don’t know. You just work!”

14. What is your mom's favorite food?

B: “Mexican!” (Perfect answer!)

15. What makes you proud of your mom?

B: “Well, you clean up all my mess!” (Glad to help you out, Son!)

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?

B: Barney on the Flintstones (Nice!)

17. What do you and your mom do together?

B: “Well, I like to be with you, Mom.” (Melts my heart!)

18. How are you and your mom the same?

B: “We like football.”

19. How are you and your mom different?

B: “You watch shows that I don’t like to watch sometimes.”

20. How do you know your mom loves you?

B: “You give me hugs and kisses.” (Always!)

21. What does your mom like most about your dad?

B: “You like it when Daddy cleans up his messes upstairs!”

22. Where is your mom's favorite place to go?

B: “Mexican restaurants”

All in all, I thought he did a great job!

I SURVIVED BREYDON'S FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL!

...as if it were about me! ha I sooooo dreaded this day, and yes, I was a blubbering idiot! I couldn't help myself! My baby was going to school... I was so proud of him! He did great! He didn't even say goodbye and marched right into his room. His teacher also told me that he was "very smart." That makes us so proud...but sometimes he's too smart!ha :) I love you, Bubby. I'm so proud to be your mother! Here's some photos from his big day!

PRICELESS BUBBYISM...

Breydon told his Gymboree teacher that he had to go "poopy." I was waiting outside class, so I took him to the restroom. I was telling him that he needed to hurry so that he wouldn't miss the rest of his class. He wanted to be in the stall by himself because, "Mom, I'm big now!" While he was in the stall he said, "Mom, this is taking a long time isn't it?" Realizing that I shouldn't rush him I said, "It's okay, Buddy, just take your time." Silence... Then he said, "Mom, but this is really taking a long time." I said, "Buddy, sometimes it just takes a while. You're okay." Then he said, "I know this is taking a really long time, but Mom, some things are just worth the wait."
