SOCCER FUN!

As you know, Breydon started soccer class every Tuesday night in Pendleton. He loves it! They not only teach the kids soccer skills, but they run through obstacle courses, run several laps (remember he tells me he's "going long"), play with the parachute and learn eye/hand coordination skills. Of course, his favorite part is the bounce house jumping for the last 10 minutes! It's very good for him. We enjoy spending the time with him too! If you want a good laugh, come watch John think he's a good soccer player. It's quite amusing! ha

The Little Things That Mean The Most...

John and I were standing in the kitchen. John gave me a hug. Breydon ran right up to us and squeezed us as tight as he could. Then he said, "Oh, I love you, Dad and Mom." My heart melted... You can only imagine what happened next....a million kisses on his face! I just love my family!!

Elf on the Shelf

Aunt Chandra told us all about "The Elf on the Shelf." Since hearing about this elf, we have adopted one as a new member of our family and our new family tradition. Bubby named him "Christmas"...pretty clever, huh? ha The book about our new family member states that Christmas sits somewhere in our home to watch Bubby all day during the holiday season. At night, he flies to the North Pole and tells Santa whether Breydon has been naughty or nice. Although Christmas doesn't speak and we can't touch him (because he'll lose his magic!), he is a good observer and tends to help us out when Breydon begins to act like a typical boy! Breydon enjoys our search each morning for Christmas' new spot in our house for the day. Wouldn't you need a comfy spot to sit in after such long, cold flights each night? To all the parents out there...this has been a good investment!!! :) Now...where we can find a "Christmas" for January through November?
