Neighborhood Spy...by accident...

I know... I don't mean to keep bothering you with my blogs. I guess I've just had too much to blog about! Anyway, I had to tell you this story... John put Breydon down for his nap today. I didn't hear the monitor, so I checked to see if it was plugged in... I turned it on only to hear a woman's voice. Then I heard a little girl talking. I thought it must have been the TV. I put it on mute...still hearing the voice. I then thought that maybe John was talking to someone outside and it was just picking it up but it sounded like a woman reading a story about sheep. It then hit me...was I picking up someone reading to their child in our neighborhood? Then it hit me that it was our neighbor, Tammy! She was reading a story to her little girl! I ran into Breydon's room to see if the main monitor was on and it was off! My friend, Deb, came by to visit me today and I told her what had happened. She said that her monitor does that in her neighborhood! If the main monitor is off and the other one is on, it searches for the closest monitor.



After Breydon was up from his nap, I mistakenly left the monitor on and started hearing Tammy again telling her little girl how pretty she was while she was brushing her hair! I couldn't believe it! So, long story short...be careful, Mol!! I can only wonder what they've heard us say or do! Hey, maybe we should get one for Mom and Dad and they can be like the modern day Olivers!

"Mom, Why Isn't This One Talkin'?"

I just had to share... Breydon ran over to my laptop when he heard Kiersten laughing on the video. First, he started cracking up...laughing with her. Then he started pointing at the other photos on the blog and wanted to know why they weren't "talkin". He was upset that I couldn't make all of the pictures (not videos) "talk" too!

Cousin/Friends Forever!

I was so excited when I found out that Lane and Molly were pregnant. We could not wait until the big day! Now that our precious Kiersten Nicole has come into our lives, it's the photos like these that remind me of how precious life can be and how I longed for these photos. I can only hope that they'll be close and grow up as cousin/friends. Breydon absolutely adores "Baby Kiersten."

Breydon asked me what I was doing. I pointed to this blog page. He said, "Mommy, we were at Donalds!" I said, "Yes, we were buddy." Then he pointed to all of the circles on the page and said, "Mommy, what are all of those 'darts'? I no like the darts [dots]." We can't always please...
