SPECIAL VISIT

We had a special visitor (Ms. Kiersten) at our house last weekend. Breydon and Kiersten had a blast! I love how much fun they have together. They are just too cute! When I took them for a walk, the neighbors wanted to know if I gave birth overnight (I'm sure the red hair wasn't the cause! ha) I told them if birth was that easy, I'd have 10 already! ha

HOPEFUL THAT WE ARE RAISING HIM RIGHT!

I just had to share a comment that someone made to John and me about Breydon. Today, Breydon had his weekly Gymboree class. After class, Mr. Mike, smiled at Breydon and looked at us and said, "I just have to tell you. He is just so thoughtful." My heart melted and I said, "Oh, I'm so glad. Thank you." He told us how Breydon always seems to care about others and made it a point to tell the teacher that Mr. Mike didn't get a turn to pick his favorite color. As a mother, I couldn't have asked for a better comment. I've noticed that he's so good about saying his "thank you's." I'm just so proud. I can only hope that we continue to show him how to treat others and how to be polite to everyone. I'm so proud to be his mother. I just love him!

QUALITY TIME WITH DAD

As I was watching TV, trying to prepare myself of having another week back at work, I watched Breydon and John sit on our deck. This has become a nightly ritual now. Breydon loves to sit on the deck with Dad and wait for the solar lights to come on. As I watched, I had a smile on my face. It is so cute to see them lost in serious conversation. Priceless...

INDY 500 PARADE!

Today, we attended the 500 Parade! We had a blast despite the heat! We enjoyed seeing all of the "stars" of the parade. Bubby was so excited to see SpongeBob and the Backyardigans! Mommy especially enjoyed seeing Josh Duhamel and Gilles from Dancing with Stars! ha Of course, John was excited to see Danica! Deb, thank you so much for offering the tickets! You're the best! CORN-ON-THE-COB-AHOLIC!

Breydon absolutely LOVES corn-on-the-cob! He asked to have it for a snack after dinner! If only I could get him to eat everything else just as good..!
