ANOTHER SAD DAY FOR MOMMY :(

Over the weekend, we bought a dresser for Breydon's room. It was time. I knew he had outgrown the nursery dresser, but I didn't want to face the fact that he's a big boy now. He was so excited to have his own big boy dresser. He said, "Mommy, I can put all my underwears in there!" Glad he has a drawer for his "underwears!" I stayed up late to rearrange his room and get everything in the dresser. He slept in our room so when he woke up I said, "Hey buddy, wanna see what I did with your room?" He didn't even allow time to answer and darted off... He smiled really big and said, "Mommy, it looks so nice!" I was so glad that he loved his big boy room with his big boy dresser. We walked out into the kitchen and he says, "Hey, where's my new dresser?" Glad he bothered to look at the entire reason I rearranged his room! Turkey!!!

EASTER FUN

We had a wonderful Easter! Thank you everyone for making it so special! We love you!

YEAH...IT'S EASTER!

I can't believe Easter is already here! Didn't we just celebrate Christmas? Anyway, tonight was our night to make our Easter Eggs and prepare for the Easter Bunny's arrival!

John helped Breydon make an IU egg and a football egg...at least he tried! :)

YIKES! I'M 35!

Yesterday was supposed to be a day to celebrate, but it was a difficult day for me...I turned 35! Did I really just say that? Yes, I am now 35! It was easier to say, I'm 30... you know..the new 20..but, 35? There was so much more that I had planned to accomplish by 35. I won't share my bucket list because it will only make me more sad to type it! ha Instead, I see more wrinkles and a little more back fat (girls, you know what I'm talking about!) than the year that I turned 30! ha Just when I began to drown myself in my aging sorrows I realized... I've had 35 great years. While we all have our ups and downs, I've had a blessed life with an absolute wonderful family and friends that mean the world to me. I have the most beautiful boy that I could ever ask for and a husband who truly loves me. God has truly blessed me and I'm very thankful for my 35 years. Now, I've just decided to stop having birthdays. Then 35 won't seem so bad! ha

P.S. After I opened my gifts, Breydon and John sang Happy Birthday to me and we had a birthday pinic dinner on the floor in our house. I loved it!
