This year Thanksgiving dinner was at Uncle Bud's home. We enjoyed seeing everyone and spending time with the family. We know that we are very blessed...

Jesus Loves Me...

Our nighttime ritual consists of reading a story, discussing Breydon's day, saying our prayers, and singing a song. Here's an audio of Bubby singing Jesus Loves Me...melts my heart!

Fun with Dad

Breydon likes to listen to John and I talk about work. He will often pick up a file and tell us that he has to meet with his clients. He also asks lots of questions about what we do all day.

Yesterday was a big day for Breydon. John did not have to work in Kokomo, but he had some filings to do for his private practice. Breydon was so excited that he was going to the "courthouse" (it was actually just a small claims court). He walked into the court office and told the ladies that he wanted to see the Judge. I guess they all got a kick out of him and the Judge even came out to meet him and gave him a sucker. He was in heaven. He also told the staff all about how the leaves have fallen off the trees and that means that winter is coming, that the birds fly south for the winter because it's warm, etc. I'll bet he talked their ears off!

Then he had the big treat of going to the new airport which he described as "HUGE" and "Donalds" for lunch.

Thanks, Dad, for making it a special day. I know he loves hanging out with Dad.

Bubbyisms...

When we were trick-or-treating, Bubby would tell some people that he didn’t like their candy...embarrassing!!! He didn’t get that he couldn’t be choosy that night. Hope we won’t have to move soon!

We were on our way to Anderson for Mamaw’s birthday dinner. Bubby asked John how long it would take to get to Anderson. Instead of giving Breydon a time, John said, "Well, Buddy, it’s about 20 miles." Bubby said, "Twenty Miles...FOR CRYIN’ OUT LOUD!" We cracked up. Is that Mamaw or what?

Breydon started his soccer class. The teacher asked the kids to tell him their names and what they liked to do. Breydon was the first one to start. He said, "I’m Breydon." Then he looked up at me and said, "Mom, what do I like to do?"

At soccer class, Breyon was running all over the field yelling, "Mom and Dad, I’m going long..." Uh, wrong sport...

When we get on Breydon for doing something that he shouldn’t be doing, we always say, "Breydon Michael"...and he’ll say, "Eisele!" At soccer class, the boy next to Breydon said his name was Michael. Breydon looked at him...interrupted the kid...and says, "Eisele!" ...as if the kid was playing a game with him...
